Agile testing strategy
Agile is a software testing methodology that follows the principles of agile software development. It promotes continuous iteration of testing throughout the life cycle of the project. The goal of an agile development team is to deliver high quality features on a speedy basis. This fast development pace can seem hard to keep up with, but there are a few key strategies and best practices that will ensure a smooth flow and a quality end product.
So you don’t need to go farther, we have done the work for you. we give you the Agile Testing Strategy:
Have a Clear Test Strategy
If you are just starting the shift to Agile testing, it might seem difficult at first since identifying the scope of items to be tested may not be possible, but it is possible to determine a testing strategy. The QA build strategy, test data creation, types of test tools, and integration testing should all be included in your agile testing strategy. Once you have a clear plan then it will be easier to execute.
Identify and Define Scope
Besides sprint 0 every sprint should have a certain amount of code that can be tested. There are only a few days to fix bugs at the end of a sprint, so the test plan should clearly list the expectations in relation to the quality of the code and also define the tests which should be ran during a sprint. Depending on how large or complex the project is, one to two sprints may be necessary specifically for testing and bug fixing.
Feedback Loop
When designing any product, having a high-quality result is always near the top of the list. There will be changes in product features or even additional features added. This will impact the test plan and create new things to test and possibly new errors which will impact the product quality. Team leaders should be fully engaged in all product decisions and in turn be engaged with the development team and etc.; feedback and communication is vital.
With Agile Testing the testing process becomes an integral part of software development and not a separate entity. Agile testing strategy helps shorten the development process which in turn helps produce quality software more quickly. Agile Test Management has many benefits and is not as costly as other methods since errors can be caught in the early testing stages.
